Leadership Norms for St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Severn Parish
The role of the Vestry is not easy to define. While the Vestry
has a fiduciary role - it is canonically responsible for the assets
of the parish and for the business and fiscal affairs - that is
only one aspect of its being. Ultimately Vestry members, under
the leadership of the Rector, serve as trustees for the religious
as well as the financial health, well-being and future of the
parish.
