HOLIDAY BAZAAR WITH SILENT AUCTION

Saturday, October 19

10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Crafts, Vendors, Cracker Barrel Rocking Chair Raffle, Food, and the Bidding Fun of the Silent Auction!  Come for lunch: Chili Dogs, Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Chicken Soup, or just plain Chili.  Baked Goods to buy and bring home to enjoy!

Adults: $15.   Youth 5-12: $6.   Under 5: free

MESSIAH SING ALONG

Sunday, December 8

3:00 p.m.

Handel's beautiful music will be performed by a chamber orchestra, vocal soloists, and the audience as the chorus.  Whether you wish to sing or just come and listen, you will enjoy being a part this this seasonal tradition.

In the spirit of giving, a free-will offering will be collected to benefit the Crofton Christian Caring Council ( an organization providing area residents with help.)

EUCHARIST AND HEALING IN THE EVENING

Father Hailey will celebrate a weekday evening Holy Eucharist with Healing Service on the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. beginning on October 2.

NEW MUSICAL PROGRAM YEAR

Our Senior Choir meets on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. with our new music director, Michael Carver.  Come join in to make a joyful noise!!! Altos and tenors are especially needed!  If you cannot commit to joining the choir, please feel free to speak with Michael about how you can support our Music Program.  Click here for more info...

SUNDAY ADULT BIBLE STUDY

Father Victor offers a Reintroduction to the Gospel of St. Luke, after the 10:00 a.m. service on the following dates: October 6 & 27, November 10 & 17.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY AND FELLOWSHIP

This daytime Bible Study meets at 12:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall on the second and fourth Mondays of each month through April.  The curriculum used is the "Life Guide Study Program," which not only looks at Scripture, but compares life styles, customs, and faith practices of he ancient civilizations with those of the modern world.  If you wish to join the group, speak with Joan Trisko or Jean Cox or leave your name with the church secretary and someone will contact you with information.

APPALACHIA SERVICE PROJECT (ASP)

Another successful work week is completed.  Participants look forward to planning for ASP 2020!  The first planning meeting will take place on Sunday, October 13 at 11:15 a.m.  For pictures of their work week, refer to our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/StStephensMD.

TAKING CARE OF THE LITTLEST ONES

Our nursery is available for infants and toddlers at the 10:00 a.m. Sunday Service only.  It is located in the church undercroft (Turn right at the bottom of the stairs).

CHURCH SCHOOL

The program year for Church School classes runs from September to the first Sunday of June, for students from Pre-K through High School.  Classes begin at 10:00 a.m. Although September 15 was the start date for Church School, students may be enrolled at any time.  Please download a Parent -Teacher Handbook for more information and a calendar of events for the year.

Pastoral  care is of utmost importance in the life of a church community.  Please do not hesitate to call the church office if you know of a parishioner who is ill, shut-in, or has been hospitalized.  Office phone: 410-721-2881.


ADULT CONFIRMATION

If you are an adult and wish to be confirmed or be received into the Episcopal Church, please call the church office.
